Our Story
La Fattoria di Tirrenia
As a counterpoint to the elegance of the beaches, behind the town centre stretched the vast agricultural estate known as La Fattoria di Tirrenia, owned by the Counts Gabrielli di Quercita, an example of Rationalist architecture and considered a model farm for its contribution to the Wheat Campaign (it was among the first in Italy to introduce horse-drawn reaping machines). Today known as Azienda Agricola di Tirrenia, the farm is still active and has been converted into an agriturismo.
The Dairy Farm
The farm, designed by its first owner, Engineer Gabrielli, was originally established as a dairy farm for milk production and the processing of dairy products.
With its 700 cows, it represented a benchmark in national livestock farming for many years.

Our Products
With its 300 hectares, the farm has chosen to focus on eco-sustainable production, beginning its transition to organic farming.
Agriculture is increasingly taking an active role in the fight against climate change, and the organic method is the production model best suited to mitigating emissions and allowing soils and crops to adapt more effectively to climate change.
Small-scale productions have also been introduced, such as olive oil, along with hosting beekeepers for honey production.
